Katy Perry took to Instagram on Tuesday alongside her fiancé Orlando Bloom with a post that showed her under a filter that showed her age 50 years, while Bloom was unaffected.
In the post, which was scored to her upcoming single Lifetimes, the 39-year-old songstress had her black locks down and wore a gray shirt as she got progressively more wrinkled while posed next to the actor, 47.
The Santa Barbara, California native has been heavily promoting her forthcoming singleLifetimesafter a tepid response to her last single, Woman's World.
Perry referenced her partner's signature roles in The Lord of the Rings and Pirates of the Caribbean film franchises in the caption of the post.
'Guess the filter doesn’t work on elves or pirates,' Perry captioned the humorous post. 'Sad.'

At the end of the age progression filter, which ran through the year 2074, Bloom and Perry turned toward one another and kissed.
The filter was a hit in the comment thread, as many of Perry's fans mentioned the video for her 2010 single The One That Got Away, in which she wore makeup to appear decades older.
'Are you the “The one that got away” actress??' one fan said, while another added a GIF from the clip.
Another fan said that 'for the first time, Katy Perry aged,' while one fan said, 'Orlando will love katy in all lifetimes.'
Perry - whose past hit singles such as 2008's I Kissed a Girl, 2010's California Gurls and 2013's Roar -announced on social media on Monday that Lifetimes would be the next singlereleased from her forthcoming album 143.
She posted an image of the single's cover art, depicting a heart, and featured it in her social media posts.
The heavy promotion comes after Woman's World, the debut single off her forthcoming album, landed on the Billboard Hot 100 chart at number 63 in singles, and number 65 in the Global 200, Varietyreported.
Perry faced an uphill battle in terms of publicity after it was revealed that she worked on her upcoming record with Dr. Luke, the producer who faced allegations of sexual misconduct by Kesha, leading to years of litigation on both sides.

Perry earlier this month took to Instagram after the music video for Woman's World - which was intended to have an empowering message for women - was panned by fans due to the skimpy ensembles and aforementioned involvement of Dr. Luke.
Perry said of the themes of the clip: 'We're having fun, being sarcastic with it, it's very slapstick and very on the nose ... with this set, we’re, like, not about the male gaze, but we really are about the male gaze.
'We’re really overplaying it, and on the nose because we’re about to get smashed, which is like a reset for me and for my idea of feminine divine and it’s a whole different world we go to after this.'
Perry this past February said she was departing the series American Idol after seven seasons to refocus her attention toward her career as a solo artist.
Perry is scheduled to release her new album 143 September 20, and via social media has previewed tracks such as Nirvana, I'm His He's Mine (featuring Doechii), Gimme Gimme (featuring 21 Savage).
Perry's most recent release was the album Smile in August of 2020, featuring the single Daisies. It debuted in the fifth spot on the Billboard 200.
