Arsenal have worked hard in the transfer market to build a squad over the years that is capable of competing at the top of the Premier League.
The owners of the North London club have invested heavily in Mikel Arteta and his project, which has seen the Gunners move close to winning more silverware.
The Arsenal trophy cabinet could add yet more accolades, with the players looking to bring more glory to the Emirates Stadium.
Plenty of world-class stars have made their way to London Colney, while the Arsenal academy has also produced key players for the season ahead.
So with that said, here’s a look at how much Arsenal paid to sign every first-team player in the transfer market.

David Raya – £27m
Arsenal signed goalkeeper David Raya on an initial loan deal from Brentford in August 2023, but the transfer included an option to sign the Spaniard permanently for £27m.
Raya then joined Arsenal permanently on a four-year contract in July 2024.

Aaron Ramsdale – £24m
Aaron Ramsdale joined Arsenal from Sheffield United for a fee worth £24million, with £6m in add-ons.
The England international joined in 2021 and became the first-choice option in goal before the arrival of Raya.
Karl Hein – Undisclosed
Arsenal signed Karl Hein from Estonian club FC Nomme United for an undisclosed fee as an academy option in July 2018.
Tommy Setford – £840k
Arsenal looked to strengthen their goalkeeping ranks in 2024 by signing young prospect Tommy Setford from Ajax.
The Gunners paid out £840,000 for the youngster, with plenty of promise for the future.
Kieran Tierney – £25m
In 2019, Arsenal looked to strengthen their full-back options by landing Kieran Tierney from Celtic for £25million.
Ben White – £50m
Arsenal paid out £50million to Brighton for defenderBen Whitein July 2021, with the star starting out as a centre-back before converting to a right-back.

William Saliba – £27m
Former manager Unai Emery shelled out £27million to sign William Saliba from Saint-Etienne, with the defender growing into a role as a key first-team player.
Gabriel Magalhaes – £27m
Gabriel Magalhaes made the switchfrom LOSC Lille to Arsenal in September 2020 in atransfer worth £27million.
Jurrien Timber – £34m
Arsenal paid Ajax £34million, rising by another £4.5m in potential add-ons, to sign defenderJurrien Timberin 2023.
The versatile star unfortunately saw his 2023/24 campaign cut short with an injury on debut, but is looking to make an impact in the following season.

Jakub Kiwior – £17.5m
Jakub Kiwiorjoined Arsenal from Serie A outfit Spezia in January 2023 for an initial fee of £17.5m, with add-ons that could take the deal up to £21million for the Poland international.
Takehiro Tomiyasu – £15.5m
Arsenal signed Takehiro Tomiyasu from Bologna on transfer deadline day in August 2021 for a fee worth roughly £15.5million.
Oleksandr Zinchenko – £32m
Arsenal landed Manchester City star Oleksandr Zinchenko in 2022 in a £32million transfer for the left-back.
Riccardo Calafiori – £34m
After an impressive European Championships campaign, Arsenal paid an initial £34million to land defender Riccardo Calafiori from Bologna.

Nuno Tavares – £7m
Arsenal signed Nuno Tavares from Portuguese side Benfica in July 2021 for an initial fee of £7million.
The left-back has struggled to hit the heights and will spend the 2024/25 season on loan at Lazio.
Declan Rice – £100m
Arsenal paid a club-record £100million to West Ham for the signature of Declan Rice in July 2023 – which could rise by another £5million in add-ons.

Thomas Partey – £45m
Arsenal moved quickly to sign midfielder Thomas Parteyfrom Atletico Madrid in October 2020, paying his £45million release clause to secure a deal.
Martin Odegaard – £30m
Following an impressive loan spell at the Emirates Stadium,Martin Odegaard joined Arsenal from Real Madrid on a permanent deal worth £30million.

Jorginho – £10m
Jorginhojoined Arsenal in January 2023 to help bolster the squad’s ranks for a Premier League title push, paying an initial £10million – rising to £12million – to Chelsea for the midfielder.
Fabio Vieira – £30m
Arsenal paid £30million, plus a further £4m in potential add-ons, to FC Porto to secure the transfer of midfielder Fabio Vieira in June 2022.
Albert Sambi Lokonga – £15m
Arsenal secured midfielder Albert Sambi Lokonga from Belgian club Anderlecht for an initial transfer fee of£15million, rising to£17million, in July 2021.
The Belgian international has since spent a few seasons on loan elsewhere.
Ethan Nwaneri – £0
Academy star Ethan Nwaneri joined the Arsenal set-up at the age of nine and has already made an impact on the first-team squad.
Bukayo Saka – £0
Arsenal star Bukayo Saka joined the Gunners at youth level at the age of eight, making his way through the ranks and into the first-team.

Gabriel Jesus – £45m
Arsenal raided Manchester City in July 2022, paying £45million to signGabriel Jesus, who became a key forward option for the club.

Gabriel Martinelli – £6m
Arsenal pushed to sign Gabriel Martinelliforjust £6m in July 2019 from Brazilian club Ituano FC.
The winger has hit the potential expected of him when joining the club.

Eddie Nketiah – £0
Eddie Nketiah is another Arsenal player that the club didn’t pay a transfer fee for, having joined the club through the academy at 14 – leaving Chelsea at the time.

Kai Havertz – £62.5m
Arsenal signed Kai Havertz from their rivals Chelsea for an initial £62.5million in June 2023, which could rise by another £5million if add-ons are met.

Leandro Trossard – £20m
Leandro Trossard joined Arsenal from Brighton in January 2023 for a £20million fee, with a possible £7million in add-ons.
Reiss Nelson – £0
Reiss Nelsonis another Hale End graduate, having joined Arsenal aged eight in 2007and working his way through the ranks.
Marquinhos – £3m
Arsenal made a move in June 2022 for young Brazilian wingerMarquinhos, paying £3million to Sao Paulo for his potential.
